Andrea Cooper
Campaign Services Director, FuturePAC
In March 2008, Andrea Cooper joined the FuturePAC team and together they successfully captured a supermajority in the Oregon House. As Campaign Services Director for FuturePAC, Cooper works on the ground to train campaign staff by helping develop voter contact plans and volunteer recruitment strategies, and assisting with other day-to-day needs. During the 2009 Legislative Session, Cooper was Legislative Aide to Rep. Betty Komp. Additionally, Cooper is a Wellstone Action National trainer, and is actively involved with NEW Leadership Oregon and the Oregon Bus Project.
Andrea Cooper began working in politics as a college student. She actively worked as a community and student organizer, bringing awareness to the needs of underrepresented communities in the Portland area. After graduating, she continued her organizing work as the Democratic National Committee’s Constituency Director for the State of Oregon, working with the College Democrats and the Faith, GLBT, and Hispanic communities.
