Brad Martin


Political Director, Progressive Future

Brad Martin is currently the Political Director of Progressive Future. From 2005-2008 Brad was the Democratic National Committee's Northwest Political Director, covering a 12-state region from Oregon to Kansas and Washington to Minnesota. Prior to joining the DNC, he was the Montana Democratic Party's Executive Director for 12 years. In 2004 the Montana Democratic team won back the Governor's office and control of the State House and Senate. Before working at the MDP, Brad directed MT Congressman Pat Williams' 1992 field campaign, Senator Max Baucus' 1990 statewide canvass, and worked for the Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs) in Idaho, Utah, Massachusetts, Ohio and Montana.

Brad has maintained a career-long commitment to building strong grassroots organizations and campaigns, effective progressive coalitions and training grassroots activists and candidates in the skills of effective citizen organizing and fundraising.
