Ellen Pinney
Executive Director, Oregon Health Action Campaign
Ellen Pinney is the Executive Director of the Oregon Health Action Campaign. Ellen has worked with OHAC since 1989 as Executive Director and as Health Advocate. She has a degree in public policy and communications from Tulane University and is a merchant marine.
OHAC works to build coalition at the local and state levels to empower the consumer voice in the development of health systems that give all people access to the care they need, when they need it, from providers of their choice at an affordable cost. OHAC is also currently the lead statewide organization for the Robert Wood Johnson Consumer Voices for Coverage initiative, dedicated to building 6 essential capacities for consumer advocacy efforts close to achieving health coverage for all.
