Katrina Wiest


Wellness Specialist, Bend-LaPine School District

Katrina Wiest, a Wellness Specialist at the Bend-LaPine School district, works during the school year to coordinate the Farm to School program; as well as oversee recipe and menu development, nutrient analysis, safety and sanitation, and health and wellness programs. She is a certified ServSafe Food Safety Instructor.

She serves on various committees at the state and local level focusing on physical activity and nutrition, and is president-elect of Oregon School Nutrition Association, Administrators Chapter. Katrina has also managed the Bend Farmers Market for the past nine summers. She is a graduate of OSU in Foods and Nutrition, and lives in Bend with her husband Randy and their three children.
